Exporting results to CSV

Use HubDeck Pro's CSV export to get the full list of affected records for each issue type.

HubDeck Pro's CSV export gives you a complete, record-level breakdown of every issue found in your portal. Here's how to use it.

Running an Export

Add the --export flag to your audit command with a file path:

hubdeck audit --token your-token --export audit-results.csv

The CSV will be written to the specified path when the audit completes.

CSV Structure

The export is organized into sections by object type and issue. Each row represents one affected record and includes:

  • Object Type — Contact, Deal, or Company
  • Issue — The specific check that flagged this record (e.g., "Missing Email Address")
  • Record ID — The HubSpot record ID (useful for bulk imports and direct links)
  • Name / Title — The contact name, deal name, or company name
  • Severity — High, Medium, or Low
  • Additional Context — Relevant fields depending on the issue (e.g., deal stage for stale deals, last modified date for inactive contacts)

Using the CSV for Cleanup

The most common workflows for the CSV export:

  1. HubSpot bulk import: Fill in missing data in the CSV, then re-import using the record ID column to match and update existing records
  2. Project management: Import rows into Asana, Notion, or a spreadsheet to assign cleanup tasks by owner
  3. Rep assignment: Filter by deal owner to give each rep their own list of records to fix

Note: CSV export requires a Pro subscription. Free tier returns counts only.
